Rita Samuelson

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Rita Marie Samuelson born in Akron Ohio July 8 1925 passed away March 20 2006. Rita attended Bowling Green University and graduated from the University of Akron. Preceding her in death were her parents Mary and James McAlonan. Rita is survived by her husband Andrew; daughter Anne (Phillip) Hogan and grandsons Andrew and Patrick of Burlington NC; son Andrew Jr. (Shelley) and grandsons Andrew III and Ian of Barberton; son James (Patricia) and grandchildren Gunnar Heddie and Adelle of Columbus OH; sister Rosemary Frail of Akron and brother Daniel McAlonan of NC. Rita was a devoted mother and grandmother and especially loved her grandchildren. Rita was loved by all for her warmth and outgoing personality and enjoyed socializing. In her earlier years Rita enjoyed golf bowling and bridge. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday March 24 2006 9:30 AM at St. Hilary Catholic Church 2750 W. Market Street. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Road on Thursday March 23 2006 from 5:00-7:00 PM.
