Rita Dunlevy

Rita M. Dunlevy, 93 years, of Stow, died March 23, 2014. Rita was born in Akron, where she resided until moving to Stow in 1974. She attended Annunciation Grade School and graduated from Central High School in 1939. Rita retired from General Tire (now Gencorp) in 1981 as an Executive Secretary with 37 years service. She was a member of Annunciation Church for 51 years, and currently was a member of St. Eugene Church and it's Altar Society. Rita was also a member of Gererettes, and was a volunteer with Mobile Meals for many years. Preceded in death by her parents James J. and Rita Dunlevy, brothers and sisters-n-law Jim and Marge Dunlevy, and Hank and Helen Dunlevy, and sister, Betty Dunlevy. Rita is survived by nephews, Patrick (Linda) Dunlevy of Oregon, Jim (Kathy) Dunlevy of Arizona, nieces, Judy (Bruce) Woodley of Nevada, and Betsy (Eric) Rasmussen of California, 1 great niece, 8 great nephews, 2 great-great nephews, and 2 great-great nieces, several cousins, and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at St. Eugene Church, procession will form at the Church. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St., from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St., P.O.
