Rita Anspaugh

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Rita Anspaugh (nee Philippi) 91 died on December 3 2004 in Plano TX. She was born October 10 1913 in Lutie OK. She moved to Akron about 1926; was married on March 28 1942; and moved with her husband Leroy to Carrollton TX in 1954. Rita was retired from Taylor Publishing Co. She was active in golf Mobile Meals her church and many other charities. Rita was especially proud of the many medals she won at Senior Olympics. She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy with whom she shared 61 years of marriage; parents Carlo and Catherina Philippi and brother Lee Filippi. She is survived by sisters; Edith Gist Nellie (Silvio) Pianalto and Emma (Harold) Bujorian all of Akron; sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Doris and Howard Mauck; nephew Rick Mauck and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday December 8 2004 at 11:00 am at Hummel Funeral Home (COPLEY) 3475 Copley Rd. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery Fr. Gordon Yahner Officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that a contribution be made to the Building Fund c/o Mary Immaculate Catholic Church 14032 Dennis Lane Farmers Branch TX.
