Richard Willse

Richard N. Willse 80 passed away on Wednesday August 19 2009 after a short illness. Richard served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a Civil Engineer in the Akron area. He also served as Planning Commissioner for the City of Fairlawn Athletic Director for St. Hilary School and worked overseas in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Richard was preceded in death by parents Richard and Ervilla Willse and wife Theresa. He is survived by his three children Richard (Janet) Jane (Mark) Vanilli and Mark; grandchildren Kevin Allison and Meredith Willse; Nathan Dylan Colin and Kyle Vanilli and Troy Willse; brothers John (Mimi) and David (Geri); sisters Jean (Ted) Castele Ann Meyer and Mary (Bob) Kolonik and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend thanks to The Village at St. Edwards where Richard resided the last few years of his life. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM Wednesday August 26 2009 at St. Hilary Catholic Church 2750 W. Market St where the procession will form. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd. Copley on Tuesday from 4-7 PM.
