VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Richard 'Dick' J. Smith 64 of Sharon Center formerly of Copley died December 9 2006. Richard was born on July 20 1942 in Cleveland OH. Dick graduated from West Technical HS in Cleveland and Dyke University. Dick started Smith and Associates CPA was a member of the Akron Builders Assoc. Akron Sub-Contractors Assoc. and was an avid Notre Dame and Browns fan. He also enjoyed musicals and cruises. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Erma and Leo Smith; sister Kathren Baylog and brother Leo. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Mary Ann; children Mark Smith and Karen Funk; siblings Erma Kanzig Linda Tryee Ronald Smith and Donald Smith; grandsons Michael Taylor and Nicklos Aaron Funk. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday December 14 2006 10 AM at Copley United Methodist Church 1518 S. Cleveland-Massillon Road. Interment in Copley Township Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Road on Wednesday December 13 from 4-7 PM and 9-10 AM on Thursday at the church.
