Richard Pavlin

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Richard S. Pavlin 82 years of Akron died October 21 2004. Richard was born in Cleveland and was a resident of Akron since 1943. He was a graduate of Holy Name High School and Case School of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering. He retired in 1982 from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co after 39 years of service. He was a member of St. Sebastian Church and American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Richard was a man of great faith intergity and endless love and devotion for his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Betty children and spouses; Deborah (John) Critchfield Denise (Tim) Breiding all of Akron David (Ruscell) Pavlin of Springfield MO Kimberly (Gregory) Fifer of Stow and Brian (Stacey) Pavlin of Cincinnati OH. Sister Margaret (Raymond) Schmitt of Maple Heights OH; Brother Robert (Margaret) Pavlin of Wilmington DE. Grandchildren; Sean and Kelli Critchfield Christopher Ryan Lauren and Michael Breiding Kyle and Erin Pavlin Tyler Fifer and Zachary and Adeline Pavlin. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday October 26 2004 at 1 pm at St. Sebastian Catholic Church. Interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Monday from 4-8 pm . Memorials may be made to St. Sebastian Parish Foundiation or the American Cancer Society.
