VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Richard L. Kemper 92 of Canton (formerly of Akron) died Friday December 22 2006. Dick was born on February 10 1914 in Akron Ohio. He was preceded in death by parents Albert and Agnes Kemper; twin brother Laurence Kemper and brother Joseph Kemper. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Mercedes (Krill) Kemper sister-in-law Mrs. Gloria George of Sun City West Arizona son Richard L. Kemper Jr. (Patricia) of Uniontown daughters Mary Bonenberger (John) of Melbourne Beach Florida and Anne T. Lorenzo(Special Friend David Hardy) of Canton ; grandchildren Diane Donaldson Theresa Heakin Kristen Ramey Beth Wickramasuriya Judy Paternoster Patty Ciuzio Jim Bonenberger Ernie Lorenzo and Mikel Anne Lorenzo. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dad graduated from Garfield High School where he played football and upon graduation began working at the Firestone Bank. He also had worked at the Diamond Foundry. Dad was retired from the Larry Kemper Golf Company and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 547. Dad will be remembered by all of us as being someone who trusted everyone without exception. We are very proud of Dad and the example he set for his family. He was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed playing cards with all of us especially with nephews John Semonin Fr. Jim Semonin and Denny Krill who would make the trip to Canton most every Wednesday evening. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the care given to Dad by Mercy Medical Center Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial Friday December 29 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 476 Mull Ave. Interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron on Thursday December 28 2006 from 4-7 PM.
