Richard Cavileer

Richard J. Cavileer, Nov. 21, 1989 to Nov. 8, 2021.

Our hearts are broken, and it is with great sadness, that we announce the death of our wonderful sweet Richard James Cavileer.

Richard attended St. Vincent Grade School, Hoban High School. University of Dayton, and Arizona State.

He was employed by Prudential Advisors as a financial planner, a profession that he found both challenging and enjoyable.

His hobbies included golf, bowling, playing euchre, quoting Seinfeld episodes and chess matches with his Wadsworth friends. His latest desire was to go on stage at comedy clubs ( He just had his first open mic night and he was actually pretty good at it). Richard was known for giving the best hugs and having a great laugh. He loved all his family dearly.

Through- out his life, he maintained friendships with all his grade school friends, including Andy, Andrew, Matt, Michael, Greg , Mark, Patrick, Chris, David and Sarah.

In his memory, he leaves his mom and dad, Kathy and John Cavileer, Grandfather Richard Protich, loving big brother John W. Cavileer and wife Breanne, and devoted big sister Natalie McCrory and husband Sean, Nieces and nephews- Everett, Estella, Avery and Nolan. Many aunts and uncles and dozens of cousins who all loved him very much.

You were a beautiful, kind and thoughtful person, and your memory will live in all of us that had the pleasure of knowing you. God Bless you Richard. We will always love you.

A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, November 15, 2021 at 1PM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish, 164 W Market Street Akron, OH 44303. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1-4PM at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY, 3475 Copley Road Copley, Ohio 44321. Richard liked flowers but felt helping people was more important. Please consider a donation to the Haven of Rest in his honor.
