VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Richard K. (Dick) Brennan 73 passed away on August 4 2006 with his family at his side. Dick was a resident of Akron and of Ft. Myers FL. Dick graduated from St. Mary High School Kent State University and served his country in the United States Navy. He joined IBM Corporation and began a career of 25 years earning annual recognition for his service. In 1987 he followed his dream and founded UNEQ INC. enjoying many years of success. Dick was a long-time member of The Optimist Club of Akron serving as president in 1982. Among his favorite pastimes were golf and spending time with the many friends he made over the years. Dick is survived by Mary his loving wife of 49 years; sons Kevin (Cynthia) Terrence (Teresa) James (Susan) Timothy (Cathy) and Thomas (Jacqueline) and 14 grandchildren Matthew Ryan Patrick Michael Kristin Sarah Brian Timothy Molly Kelly Joseph Christopher Daniel and Robert. Dick is preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Bartholomew; sisters Patricia Eileen and Jean; brothers Robert and Daniel. He was survived by sister Mary Ann Shay and brothers Bart and Edward. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday August 8 2006 at 10:00 am at Annunciation Church 87 Broad St. Friends may call on Monday from 3-8 pm at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E.
