Ralph John Ezzie (KB8F2N) Ralph John Ezzie, 66, passed away at the Hospice of Visiting Nurses, in Copley, on April 26, 2014. He was born in the North Hill area, and then moved to Copley. He worked at the family owned and operated business, Akron Ignition, for many years with his parents and his two brothers. He graduated from Copley High School in 1967. He also was a member of the Our Lady of the Cedars, Maronite Catholic Church, in Fairlawn. He loved being an avid ham operator. He enjoyed collecting and restoring antique vehicles, motorcycles and radios. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and anything to be outside, getting dirty. He is preceded in death by parents John and Julia Ezzie and infant brother John Ezzie, Jr. He is survived by his caring and loving wife of 32 years, Monna Sue (Lynch); brothers Joseph (Jeanette (Sis)) and George (Donna) Ezzie; many nieces, nephews and cousins who he loved and adored. Family will greet friends at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY on May 1, 2014 from 4 to 8PM. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday at 10AM at Our Lady of the Cedars Maronite Catholic Church, 507 S. Cleveland - Massillon Rd. with Fr. Bill Bonczewski officiating. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of the Cedars Maronite Catholic Church Building Fund.
