R. Sanderson

R. Bruce Sanderson age 85 died December 2 2004. He was a lifetime resident of Akron who attended Akron Public School and graduated from Buchtel High School in 1937. He was a member of the Lone Star Fraternity at Akron University and graduated with a B.A. degree. After serving in the U.S. Army from 1941 through 1944 he was retired with a service-connected disability and then attended law school at National University/ George Washington University in Washington D.C. graduating in 1947. He joined the Akron law firm of Knowlton and Wilson and retired from the active practice of law in 1982. Bruce was also a 32nd degree member of the Masonic Temple. He was preceded in death by parents Gordon and Grace Sanderson and son David Sanderson. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Juanita daughter Karen Jackson and grandchildren Holly and Ben Jackson. Private services will be held at a later date and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Music Program Hospice of VNS 3358 Ridgewood Rd. Akron OH 44333
