Philip Worcester

Philip H. Worcester, age 94, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2014. He was born on November 11, 1919 in Oberlin, Ohio to the late Daniel and Magdalene Worcester. Phil proudly served our country in the US Coast Guard. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the Oberlin College and his Master's Degree from Ohio State University. Phil was a teacher and coach at Shaw High School in East Cleveland and retired from Cuyahoga Heights High School as a principal. Preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; brother, Jim; and sisters, Eleanor Coe and Peg VanAusdale; he is survived by his children, Paul (Pam), Helen 'Betsy' Slaughter, Lora (Dave) Langston and Philip (LeighAnn); and 8 grandchildren.
