VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Peter Julius Popio 63 went to be with his Lord the morning of July 6 2006. Born in Akron he graduated from Copley High School in 1960 and attended University of Akron. He was owner of Popio Remodeling for 35 years. He was a member of St. John-St. Paul Lutheran and also attended St. Paul's Lutheran in Sharon. Peter was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Popio and his son Macaulay. He is survived by his daughter Heather (Harley) Anglin of Las Vegas NV; sister Eleanor Popio and brother Anthony (Gerry) Popio; former wife Kathryn Popio; brother-in-law William (Judy) Hardgrove and sister-in-law Roberta (Kenneth) Martin and faithful friend Cynthia Loughrie and her family. The family will receive friends at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd on Sunday from 3-6 PM. Services will be held there Monday 10 AM with Pastor Jean Hanson officiating cremation to follow.
