Peter Bianco

Peter Michael Bianco an Akron resident died Thursday October 8 2009. He was 53 and had renal cancer. Peter a son of Annamae Bianco-Thompson and the late Dr. Michael C. Bianco was born in Akron on February 11 1956. He grew up in Silver Lake and attended Holy Family Elementary School Walsh Jesuit High School and Kent State University. Peter was a beloved son brother neighbor and friend. He was an avid walker of city neighborhoods and metropolitan parks and enjoyed listening to music. Good humored good natured and courteous he is sorely missed. In addition to his mother he is survived by his brother Joseph and his sisters Barbara Marianne and Rosemarie Ripple; aunts Ruth Heiber Rosemary Marco Jeanne Gill Josephine Stafinski Helen Capobianco and Angelina Bianco; uncle Bruce Gill; and numerous cousins. Peter's family is grateful for the many kindnesses of Bruce Winer Community Support Services; Nat Clark Hospice of Summa Health System; the staff of the Acute Palliative Care Unit at Akron City Hospital and the staff of Bath Manor; Frs. Joseph Warner and Steven Brunovsky St. Hilary Parish; and neighbors friends and relatives. A Memorial Service will take place at 3:00 PM Friday October 16 2009 at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St Akron. Family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Support Services 150 Cross St Akron OH 44311.
