Penny Kungle

Penny (Bala) Kungle, 54, of Copley, passed peacefully on May 3rd after a heroic and courageous battle against MS and ALS.  She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. Penny was heavily engrained in Copley-Fairlawn Schools as an educational aide, a booster club member, and inducted into the Hall Of Fame. She was preceded in death by father, Merile Bala. She is survived by husband, Jeff; daughter, Brittany; mother, Barbara Bala; brother Jerry (Barbara) Bala; sisters Vickie (Jim) Bickett; and Kathy (Paul) Rothschild; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memorial service will be Friday May 8th at 3pm.  The calling hours will follow the service from 4-7pm at Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ALS Northern Ohio Chapter, 6155 Rockside Rd. Suite 403, Independence, Ohio 44131.
