Pearl Keck

Pearl Keck Pearl A. Keck 91 of Medina OH died December 11 2003. Born in Akron she was an area resident her entire life. Pearl was a member of Copley United Methodist Church where she served as organist for several years. She was a 1934 graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music and a long time member of Akron Music organizations. Pearl gave the gift of music to many including her numerous piano students. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth parents Henry and Margaret Aberth and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister Ruth Sir Louis children Evelyn (Dale) Scott of Copley Kenneth (Carolyn) Keck Madison OH and Robert (Dorothy) Keck Medina OH. Pearl is also survived by grandchildren Karen (Ned)Thorp Mark Scott Paul(Alana) Scott Tracey Keck Alicia Keck Paulette Keck Denise (Michael) Piechowiak and Brandon (Johnna) Keck. Funeral Services will be held on Monday December 15 2003 at 10:30 AM at the Copley United Methodist Church 1518 S. Cleveland-Massillon Road. Rev Becki A. Bowan will be officiating. Interment in the Copley Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. on Sunday December 14 2003 from 2-6 PM and also Monday at the church one hour prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Copley United Methodist Church.
