Paul Foley Payne 82 of Copley Ohio entered into paradise on July 12 2012. He was born on August 10 1928 in Paradise Kentucky to the late Forrest and Nanny Payne (Welborn). Paul is survived by his son Paul Bryan sister-in-law Marguerite Clemenz and many wonderful caring friends including Bill Nimer his best friend of 80 years. His son would like to thank Walter and Karen Poulson for being such great friends and thoughtful care-givers for his Dad. Mr. Payne was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Sue Payne (Scruggs) and is with her again in heaven. Paul served in the United States Army with the First Guided Missile Battalion in Las Cruces New Mexico. He was honorably discharged in 1948 and received the World War II victory medal. Paul worked for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad for 40 years where he made many wonderful friends. He was a member of The Chapel on Fir Hill and later attended Charity Missionary Baptist Church with Paul Bryan. His son is thankful that his Father was a good Christian man who left his pain and suffering here on earth for an eternity of joy and happiness. A Memorial Service will take place at 5:00pm on Saturday July 21 at Charity Missionary Baptist Church. (1579 Jacoby Rd.
