Paul E. Neidert, 55, of Bath, died suddenly on December 7 at Barberton Citizen Hospital with his wife Carolyn by his side. He was a member of St. Victor Catholic Church in Richfield. Paul served his country in the United States Army as an Airborne Ranger for the 101st in Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf War with many ribbons and citations awarded to him. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Carolyn who together shared many mystery trips. Paul also is survived by sons, Michael and Tara Humston, Patrick Humston, Jeremy Neidert, Joshua Neidert. Brothers, Mike and Beverly, Gary and brother in law Frank Martinek, brother and sister in law, Dave and Denise Carlos. Father in law Dave Carlos and John Jahant. Very close friends, Becky and Orrville Estep along with a niece and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Rose and John Neidert, sister, Debbie Martinek and mother in law Eleanor Carlos. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. from 4 to 7 pm and on Thursday at St. Victor Parish, 3435 Everett Rd. Richfield from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th, 2014 at 10:30 am at St. Victor Parish, with burial to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
