We are celebrating the life of Paul C. MenMuir of Broadview Hts., born December 16, 1946 and passing October 11, 2024.
Beloved husband of Bonnie, proud father to daughter Cheryl of Maumee, OH, and son Daniel and his wife Kristin of Woodbridge, VA..
He is also survived by grandson Carter and extended family members living throughout the Mid-west.
Paul grew up in Mentor OH, graduated from Mentor High School and Cleveland State University with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Following graduation, he was employed by the former Samuel Moore & Co. in Aurora. The company was acquired by Eaton Corp in1978 and then the Furon Company of Laguna Nigel, CA in 1987. He later moved to Parker Hannifin Company where he retired in 2011. Through most of his career Paul served in technology and business development capacities.
Paul was a member of the International Society of Automation serving as a Standards and Practices committee chairman. He was also a life time member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers where he focused on improving building code safety relating to HVAC and process control piping regulations.
While living in Stow OH, Paul served as a Deacon for the Stow Presbyterian Church. After moving to the Richfield area, he became a member of the United Church of Christ in Bath where he joined Trustee committee.
An intimate service with visitation following will be held at Hummel funeral home in Copley, OH on October 26th at 1:00pm. In leu of flowers, family requests a donation be made to the National MS Society. Final resting place will be at Moore's Chapel cemetery in Bath OH.
