Patricia Klein

Patricia E. Klein, age 86, passed away on December 29, 2014. She was born on March 17, 1928 in Akron to the late Carl and Freda Leininger. Pat was a 1946 graduate of St. Vincent High School and retired from Akron Municipal Court. She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and a longtime member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; son, Robert; grandson, Brian; sister Esther Leininger; son-in-law, Chuck Simmons; she is survived by her children, Terry Simmons, Tom (Ellen) Klein, Bill (Denise) Klein and Mary Paula Klein; grandchildren, Sharon (Frank) Moses, Jennifer (Charlie) Campbell, Matt (Brenda) Klein, Julie (Jason) Sinkovitz and Alex Klein; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Bisheimer and Mary Payerle and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday 4-7 p.m at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. Akron, Ohio 44304. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
