Patricia Ann (Holb Steele) Hill Pat was born to Polly and George Holb on January 30, 1941 in Akron, OH. She was the first of four lovely daughters of this union. Pat attended Mason elementary school, Perkins Jr. High school and Buchtel Sr. High school. She held many jobs over the years. She worked at Craft and Flower world, Super K Mart in Montrose, Akron Parks and Recreation at Mason Park . I think her proudest accomplishment was raising her two children that went out into the world and flourished. She loved her family and especially all of her grandchildren , great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She loved her crafts, sewing, counted cross-stitch, beading, ceramics, and quilting. She was a member of The Stan Hywet Needlework Guild. She was a Girl Scout when she was growing up as well as an adult scout. She was a Girl Scout leader for her daughter's troop #556 and for her granddaughter's troop too. On Friday August 15, 2014 she finally got to see her Dear Sweet husband Don Hill again, her mom Polly Moitoza, her dad George Holb, her sisters Alex Jarotte aka Dona Capps, and Nancy Holb. I am sure that Tony Lapidakis, Linda Bird and Martha Foutty were waiting patiently for her also! The ones she left behind to carry on her legacy are: daughter, Kimberly (Dave) Dietz, son Walter (Shelby) Steele, granddaughter Stacie Lapidakis and great grandsons Noah and Johnny Hauswirth, grandson Nikolas (Angelee) Lapidakis and great grandson Ian Lapidakis, great-granddaughters Sarah and Shianne Dietz, great-great grandchildren Carter Holland, Ciara Holland and Aubrey Fast, sisters Linda Mcleod, Regina Loso, brothers George Holb and Aaron (Rhonda) Holb. First husband Wm. Boyd Steele(without him and Pat the first fifteen people would not be on this list) (We Love You Dad). Cousin and lifelong friend Patty (Liska)Rahn and lifelong friends Rose Miller and Maridel Jackson. And her good friend River Argabright. Many other Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and friends. Hug your Moms, Dads, Mammaws, Pappaws, Grandkids and family and friends every chance you get and tell them how you feel today because tomorrow may be too late. Mom , Mammaw Pat we Love You and we will miss you. Until we see you again watch over us all espescially the little ones! In lieu of flowers please do a kind thing or two for a neighbor or friend in need. Cremation has taken place. Pat did not wish to have a service. So always the dutiful children we will honor her last wish. Condolences may be sent in care of: Kim Dietz, P O Box 4443, Copley, OH 44321.
