Patricia Coy

Patricia Ann Coy, 85, of Akron, passed away on October 21, 2023.

She was born June 6, 1938, to Mary Kusy and George Kusy in Akron, Ohio. She attended Garfield High School when they were known as the Presidents. Patricia grew up a devout Catholic and attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Akron, Ohio, for many years. She worked as a secretary for a radio station before devoting her time to raising her children. Patricia loved Cleveland sports and was an avid Browns and Indians fan. You could always find her watching a game. Patricia was an animal lover and also loved to spend time reading, listening to music, and out in nature.

Patricia Coy is survived by her children Elizabeth Mathes, Donald Coy, and Carol Coy, granddaughter Wendy (Shawn) Smith, and great-grandchildren James, Layla, and Matthew.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary, and father, George, and her loving husband Donald Coy.

The graveside service will be located at Holy Cross Cemetery on November 9th, 2023, at 11:00am.
