As a certified machinist Norman worked at various machine shops around the Akron area and was a proud retiree from Goodyear in 2001 after 30+ years of service where friends and coworkers knew him as 'Stick'. Filled with a strong entrepreneurial spirit Norm also started and ran his own company called All Water Service for more than 20 years which provided reputable home water softener installations and repairs to many thankful customers around the Copley Bath Norton and Akron areas. Norman was preceded in death by his parents John and Barbara; brothers John and Henry and sisters Anne and Kate. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret (SirLouis) of 52 years; son Eric and Shelly Heinbuch (Hayden and Hyleigh) daughters Becky and Tom Beck (Ashton) Beth and Bob Kasper (Tori) and Amy Heinbuch; brother Bill and sister Ruth (Jones). He will be missed by loved step grandchildren who became part of his family and many nieces and nephews. Norm enjoyed watching Ohio State sports and listening to the Golden Oldies. He tried to stay abreast of the latest stock market and financial news since his friends considered him a bit of a guru and frequently consulted him for advice. He rarely missed the O'Reilly Factor and would freely discuss and debate his political opinions with any and all. He also had a rare talent for making the world's best tasting popcorn which he lovingly shared with family and special friends. He enjoyed getting together with his classmates from South High School and always looked forward to his luncheons with his fellow Goodyear retirees. Norm had a great sense of humor and those who were close to him will miss his hearty laugh and warm smile.
