Norma Edmunds

Norma Kathlene Edmunds 88 of Akron died January 15 2010. Preceded in death by parents Norman and Josephine Edmunds; Sisters: Leona Margaret Tincy Beatrice Dolores; and Brother: John. Survived by brother Norman (Carol) Edmunds; Nieces and Nephews: Charmaine Stalnaker Marcy Thirtyacres Kathy (Danny) Sibbio Don (Donelda) Hedges Bernie (Maribeth) Stull David Stull Mike (Kathy) Stull Linda (Tom) Berger Alan (Mary) Edmunds Mark (Paula) Edmunds Susan (Steve) Kasarnich Michelle (David) Fox; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Norma retired in 1983 from Ohio Edison after 30 years of outstanding service. She was a member of St. Bernard's Parish since birth. She loved spending time with her humungous family and telling stories from her childhood and working at 'The Edison'. She will especially be remembered for her kindness and generosity to all who knew her. Norma loved all animals especially her favorite dog Mikey. She will be greatly missed !! We wish to thank all of the staff at Sterling House for all their help and loving care we are most grateful for their support with our Very Special Aunt Normie and most recently the care provided by the Hospice - Odyssey. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday January 18 2010 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church 44 University Avenue Akron. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 East Exchange Street Akron on Sunday January 17 2010 from 6-8 pm.
