Nelson Moyers

Nelson F. Moyers 70 of Akron passed away on December 24 2009 at Summa Akron City Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Jeannette Moyers; and brother Stephen. Nelson is survived by his brother David; his sister Lois (Dave) Mitchell; many nieces nephews and cousins; and many other family and friends. A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday January 2 2010 at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St Akron OH 44304. Nelson was employed for over 40 yrs by the city of Akron and retired from the Akron Fire Department after 30 years of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bluecoats Inc 2060 W.
