Nancy Larson

Nancy Lee Larson 9/27/1938 - 12/18/2015 Nancy Lee Larson (nee Sheesley), 77 of Wadsworth, formerly of Columbus, OH, Adrian, MI and Douglassville, PA passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, December 18, 2015. A daughter of Punxsutawney, PA she was born 'officially' on September 27, 1938 on a family farm on a road that still bears the Sheesley family name. Nancy graduated from Punxsutawney High School and Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing - University of Pittsburgh where she earned her RN and met Robert (Bob) at a Delta Tau Delta Mixer at Carnegie Mellon University. Nancy is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Robert F. Larson, Daughter Lori Larson Bernstein (Gary Bernstein), Sons Craig, Neil and Eric Larson (Cheryl Larson). Grandchildren Celia Bernstein Livshin (Gene Livshin), David Bernstein and Emmet Larson. Nancy is preceded in death by parents Raymond and Naomi Sheesley, Mary Elizabeth Sheesley and granddaughter Lauren Elizabeth Bernstein. Nancy cherished her family, friends, and neighbors, her long term nursing career, beloved dogs, gardens and her mystery books. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
