Monna "Sue" Ezzie (nee Lynch), 74, of Copley, Ohio, died August 7, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends at the Cleveland Clinic Hospice Center after a courageous 4-year battle with cancer. Sue was born January 12, 1950, and lived her entire life in Copley, Ohio. She was a 1968 graduate of Copley High School and a 911 Dispatcher for Copley Fire and Police for 30 years, retiring in May of 2004.
Sue was a very talented quilter and belonged to the KISS (Keep it Simple Sewing) club since June of 2009. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cross stitch and attending car shows with her husband Ralph before his passing in 2014. Sue treasured spending time with her family and friends where she kept everyone on their toes, never knowing when an "unfiltered" comment would occur. She truly was "one of a kind".
Sue married her beloved husband Ralph J. Ezzie on October 17, 1981, and had 32 years together before his passing in April of 2014. She was proceeded in death by her husband Ralph, father, Alfred Lee Lynch, mother, Mary Margaret Lynch (Douglas), father and mother-in-law, John and Julia Ezzie, sister-in-law, Linda Lynch (John), niece, Deanna Lynn Miller, nephew, Thomas D. Miller, Jr. and infant great, great niece, Ava Lynch. She leaves behind to celebrate her legacy, her sister, Mary Lee Wilhelm, brother, John D. Lynch, sister, Johnna (Lynch) Shook (fiancé Troy Burns), many nieces and nephews and her best friend and sister from a different mister, Carol Vandegrift, along with June Hogue and her dear friends from the KISS quilt guild.
