Molly Woods

Molly Eleanor Woods (2/9/90) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 20, 2025. Molly will be missed by her mom and dad, Patti and Mike Woods, brothers Sam (Laura), Mac ( Hansel) and sister Margaret ( Sean Robbins), nieces Marin , Eve , Molly and Lulu and nephews Forest, Elio, and Rafael and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will also be missed by her loving caregivers and friends at the Hattie Larlham Aurora Group Home.

Our family and friends were honored to have Molly in our lives. Molly was the best person we knew. She was all that is good and pure in life, and that is why she was affectionately called Angel Molly. Angel Molly was born with developmental disabilities, posing challenges mentally, physically and medically. Her strength and resilience helped her beat the odds many times. Molly Strong!

Angel Molly was our greatest teacher and inspiration. We all have a purpose in life and Molly lived hers to perfection- to teach. To teach us to be as good as we can become. She loved unconditionally, without judgement. Molly was spiritual and loved special prayers. She was innocent, gentle, joyful, intuitive, a great listener, curious, and had otherworldly senses. She loved the outdoors, the warmth of the sun, music and her special tactile toys. She was generous with her smiles and the world smiled back at her.

Molly lived with her family for 22 years. She was then welcomed into the Hattie Larlham community. The Woods family would like to thank all of her caregivers over the years, especially those at the Aurora Group Home. We are forever grateful for the love, care and respect they gave to Molly.

We are grateful for the love we shared with Molly. Her light will shine with us forever. Molly is now dancing and singing with all her family and friends who have preceded her in death.
