VIEW MEMORIAL PHOTO TRIBUTE Mirko (Michael) V. Franjesevic 86 of Akron died January 1 2008 at home with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Mato and Ana Franjesevic; brother Joseph Franjesh; sister Kate Martin; son Rick; daughter-in-law Tammy; and great-grandson Robert Jr. Mirko is survived by his wife of 61 yrs. Helen (nee Sokol); sister Mary Pete; sons Michael (Madeline) Paul (Carol) Edward (Lisa) Thomas (Kathi) William (Amy) and Vincent (Carrie); daughter Kathleen (Bruce) Barlow; 25 grandchildren 19 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was a parishioner and usher of Annunciation Catholic Church and avid member of the Holy Name Society Musical Knights Marching Group and Croation Fraternal Union of America. Mirko proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was employed by Goodyear Tire Co. until his retirement in 1983. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday January 4 2008 at Annunciation Catholic Church 87 Broad Street Akron. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
