Miriam Tropeano

January 30, 1922 — April 15, 2012

Miriam Ruth Tropeano (90) passed away Sunday April 15 2012. Born January 30 1922 Miriam was the oldest of eight children to Albert and Elner Carter. Miriam graduated from South High School and Hammel Business College and worked over 30 years in the insurance industry retiring from Marsh & McLennan Companies. Miriam enjoyed summer camping trips with her family bridge games winters in Destin Florida and the joys of being Nonni! Her family would like to extend their thanks to caregivers Michael Amy Missy Ashley and Becky. Miriam was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years Eugene; her daughter Ruth Orban; granddaughter Pamela Rexroad; sister Helen Sautner and brother James; in-laws Marilyn Carter John Sautner Alan Rice Sid Dawes Frances & James Vitz Francis Wahl Joseph and Marie Costello Henry & Georgia Tropeano and Charles Tropeano. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Mimi and Dick Rexroad; granddaughter Andrea (Jason) Justice; great grandsons Brandon Aidan and Ethan Justice. Other survivors include brothers Jack Dan (Doris) and Bruce (Kathryn); sisters Dorothy Dawes June Rice; sisters-in-law Josephine Wahl and Alice Carter; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Wednesday April 18 2012 at St. Vincent Catholic Church. Friends may call at the church ONE HOUR PRIOR to the service.
