Michele Comunale

Michele G. Comunale, 72 passed away April 18, 2022. Born in Akron on June 7, 1949 to Frank and Gertrude Comunale.

She graduated from Firestone High School in 1967 and Marquette University with a degree in Theology. Michele will be remembered for her strong, dedicated personality, sharp wit, intelligence, problem solving, and most of all, her boundless love for her family and friends. Professionally, she was an integral part of S.A Comunale Co. and worked closely with her brothers and sisters.

After retiring she dedicated her time volunteering at Our Lady of The Elms and was recently asked to sit on the board; along with a number of various charities. She loved her adorable dogs, reading, quilting, baking, crafting and most of all, her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, nephew Stephen A. Comunale Jr., sister Amy Klein, sister-in-law Jane (Fawcett) Comunale and brother-in-law Jeff Klein.

Michele is survived by brothers and sisters Frank A. (Linda Ferreira), Stephen A. (Jane Prem), Martha A. Comunale, David M. (Sue), Milissa M. (Marco) Meyo, Monica B. (Gregory) Stevens and Mark J. Comunale; Nieces and Nephews Amanda (Linda) Comunale, John (Sarah) Comunale, Martha Mary, Frank, Anthony and Katherine Meyo; Molly and Elliot Comunale; Mark, Sarah and Annabelle Comunale and Emma and Julia Klein.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 10AM at Our Lady of The Elms Convent Chapel, 1230 West Market Street, Akron. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
