Michael Taggart

Mike was born in Akron, Ohio on January 15, 1963 to the late Edward and Rosie Taggart. Mike graduated from St. Vincent St. Mary High School. Mike was a long time parishioner of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan. He loved animals and working in his yard. Mike is preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his sister Lynn (Ray) Rogers, brothers Joseph (Angel) Taggart, Edward (Christine) Taggart; nephews Joseph Jr. and David Taggart, Edward Jr., Benjamin and Eric Taggart, Uncle Thomas and Aunt Edna McNellis, and Aunt Colleen Taggart of Florida; many cousins and friends as well. Mike was a kind soul who will be missed by many. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 5PM at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY, 3475 Copley Rd. Followed by calling hours until 7PM. Private interment of ashes at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Road #30 Twinsburg, OH 44087.
