VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTEMichael 'Mikey' Novotny 55 entered into eternal life August 11 2009. Mikey was born in Gary Indiana on July 27 1954. He touched many lives with his huge heart and his radiant smile. Mikey had a love for life sports and music. He participated in the Special Olympics was a devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs and loved to listen and dance to 'The Beatles' music. Mikey loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and enjoyed attending church on Sundays. He will be dearly missed for his love of life his laughter and his contagious smile. He was preceded in death by his Father Melvin Novotny Brother Thomas Novotny Sister Janet Johnson and Grandparents Thomas and Mary Novotny and Winifred Creamer. Survived by his Mother Doreen Novotny Sister Nancy (Jeff) Markle Nieces Jennifer and Jill Markle Nephews and Nieces Erik (Shannon) Johnson and Michael (Joanna) Johnson Great Nieces and Nephews Sydney Riley Kaya and Marlon Family of Brisbane Australia his special families at the Bethesda Lutheran Home of Lowell IN and The UDS and Evant Group homes of Fairlawn OH as well as many special friends. Special Thanks to Hospice of Summa Dr. Teresa Koenig and his many special caregivers. A memorial service will be held on Friday August 14 at 10am at Fairlawn Lutheran Church 3415 W. Market St Fairlawn OH 44333 Rev. Thomas Zucconi officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Fairlawn Lutheran Church.
