Melinda Meyer

Copley, OH- Melinda S. Meyer, entered into rest April 26, 2023.

Melinda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who adored her family, welcoming many friends turned family into the fold and was affectionately known as The Nona. A native of Illinois and former resident of Florida and South Carolina, Melinda was active in the financial services community throughout her career.

Predeceased by her husband, Bob of 42 years, she is survived by her daughter, Angela (Michael) Read, Scottsdale, AZ; two sons, Benjamin Meyer and AJ Meyer, both of Copley, OH; five grandchildren, Ibby Read, Saxon Read, Jackson Meyer, Maverick Meyer and Avery Meyer.

Melinda's passion for tenacity, depth of her faith and love of family were the cornerstones of her character and the legacy she has passed on to others.

Melinda will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Bob, at Western Reserve National Cemetery in a private memorial ceremony. Hummel Funeral Home of Copley, OH will be coordinating the arrangements. In consideration of Melinda and Bob's love for children and golf, the family asks that donations be made to First Tee of Akron in Melinda's name rather than flowers, www.firstteeakron.org
