Masae Bugg

Green- Masae Bugg, 87, died October 4, 2016. Born in Manchuria to Japanese parents, she was a longtime resident of Rootstown, Ohio and Pigeon Forge, Tenn. She was a dedicated member of the Soka Gakkai USA, spending countless hours spreading the teachings of Nichiren for the ultimate goal of kosen-rufu. Some of the greatest joys of her life were the times she spent with her grandchildren and providing a home to many stray cats and dogs. She also tirelessly helped those in need of support. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Jack R. Bugg; she is survived by sons, Larry Joseph and Christopher (Robin); grandchildren, Jason (Meg) Bugg and Allison (Todd) Wheaton; great grandchildren, Graham and Norah Wheaton. Should friends desire, memorials may be made in her name to the Humane Society of the United States.
