Mary Wheeler

Mary Ann Wheeler 79 of Akron passed away May 24 2010 at the Hospice Care Center of Copley. Mary was born on October 1 1930 in Akron to the late James and Mary (Wolf) Elwood. She was also preceded in death by husband Donald M. Wheeler who passed away in January 2008. She is survived by daughter Cathy (Mark) Stewart son Michael Wheeler sisters Lucille Mamas Joanne (Ed) Beil brother Robert Elwood of California and sister-in-law Dorothy (Joe) Sebrey of Indiana. Mary enjoyed playing bridge with friends and volunteering at St. Sebastian's Catholic Church. Her favorite weekend activities included trips to gambling casinos and spending time with friends and family at the Fairlawn Swim and Tennis Club. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday May 28 2010 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church at 9:30 A.M. Private entombment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
