Mary Watson

Mary E. Watson was born April 6 1918 in Akron Ohio to Howard and Flossie Clawson. She passed away peacefully with her three daughters by her side on July 20 2005. She was a life-long resident of the Akron and Copley area. She loved to spend time with her family shop and was always ready for a game of cards especially bridge. She was a member of Copley United Methodist Church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Clarence. She is survived by her daughters Susan Watson of Stow Judy Watson of Akron and Ruth (Armand) Lear of Norton; granddaughters Cindy (Eric) Preston and Katie Lear; great-grandchildren Samantha and Andrew Preston. She is also survived by her extended step-family of 5 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Monday July 25 at 10 AM at Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Road COPLEY. Interment in the Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY on Sunday from 5-7 PM . In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association 1236 Weathervane Ln.
