Mary Sibert

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Mary M. Sibert 68 of Akron went home to be with her Lord on Monday December 25 2006.   Mary was born in Nitro West Virginia on August 21 1938 to Veda Macil and Fred Copenhaver.   She was a long-time resident of Akron Ohio where she retired from Akron General Medical Center after 27 years in Dietary Service.   Preceded in death by her parents;step-mother Alice Josephine (Jody) brother Charles Madison (Toddy);sister Nancy Jo Tompkins; husband Russell and infant son Jeffrey.   She is survived by sons Russell (Mary Beth); Ronald (Cindy); Larry (Beverly); daughter Susan I. Cliffel (Michael); grandsons Bryan Jeffrey Michael C. Cliffel II her much anticipated granddaughter Chloe Grace Cliffel and her dear friend Kenneth Boob. Many nieces nephews family and friends.   Mom was known for her giving and selfless heart always willing to help anyone in need. Though she had not much to give she always gave with joy and happiness. Luke 21 The Widow's Offering     1As he looked up Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. 2He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins.[a] 3''I tell you the truth he said ''this poor widow has put in more than all the others. 4All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.''   Mary loved her grandchildren and each brought her special joy.   Her friends were numerous and Mary garnered them from all walks of life.   We celebrate Mom's life and her passing with joy peace and the promise of seeing her again one day in eternity with Our Lord Jesus Christ. By God's Grace alone we will stand with her and be reunited.   'But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.' Corinthians 15:57    Special thank you to the wonderful Akron General Medical Center Oncology Nurses of 5400 and the Hospice Nurses who took care of Mom...Marla Laura Patty Joyce and the many aides. Thank you for your kindness love attention and prayers.
