Mary Schwesinger

Mary Schwesinger, 77, passed away Tuesday August 18, 2015. She was born in Miskolc, Hungary coming to the United States at age 12. Mary was fluent in four languages. She graduated from Ohio University with a degree in geology. Mary met and married the love of her life, Gary, while attending Ohio University. They were married 45 years. Mary volunteered for many years at St. Thomas Hospital as well as other local organizations. Mary's greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was extraordinarily organized as evidence by her excellent housekeeping. She took great pride in her gardening. Mary had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Gary; father Augustine Peller; mother Helen Garas; brother Peter Peller. She is survived by son Paul (Donna); daughter Lisa (Tim) Luby; grandsons Paul (Tiffany), Graham and Matthew Schwesinger, John, Justin and Brian Luby; great grandson Parker Schwesinger; brothers George (Egle) Peller, Thomas (Linda) Peller and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to VNS Hospice Care Center for their loving care of Mary. A memorial Mass will be held Saturday August 29, 11:00 am at St. Hilary Catholic Church. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Hilary Catholic Church, 2750 W. Market St., Fairlawn, Ohio 44333.
