Mary Miller

Mary Ann Miller, 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Cuyahoga Falls on October 3, 2014. She was born in Harrisburg, PA on Nov. 3, 1925, grew up in Johnstown, PA and was a long time resident of North Akron and Cuyahoga Falls. Mary Ann met her husband Donald Roy Miller after WW II and was married to him for 52 years until his passing in 2003. Also preceding her in death were her parents Linus and Cecelia Topper and her brother George Topper. Her warmth, kindness and love will be remembered and missed by her children Daniel (Kathleen) of Tallmadge, Dennis (Chris) of Uniontown, Barbara of B.C. Canada, Marian (Roger) Brown of Kingwood, TX; grandchildren Jessica (Ryan) Klomparens, Erika (Jason) Siegfried, Andrea (David) Frank, David Miller, Valerie Miller, Andrew (Emily) Miller, Travis Miller, Ashley Brown, Jamie Brown; 4 great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws Fran Topper of Richmond, VA and Lt. Col. Elizabeth J. Miller, Ret. of Martinsburg, PA. She was proud of her family and devoted her life to being a great wife and mother. The Family will receive friends Tuesday Oct. 7 from 5-8 PM, at Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. Akron, Ohio. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday October 8, 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2952 Edison St. NW, Uniontown.
