Mary Levenderis

Mary Alice Levenderis 71 passed away on January 4 2004 following a courageous battle of emphysema. Mary was born on June 25 1932 in Sparta Tennessee and moved to Akron when she was nine years old with her family. She graduated from East High School in 1952! She resided in Portage Lakes for the past 22 years which she called paradise. She had a multitude of dear friends with whom she loved. She is preceded in death by her parents Henry C. and Leta Vandever and brother James Vandever. She is survived by her husband Tony Levenderis of Akron; brother John Vandever of Sharon Center; son Jeff Levenderis of Akron; daughter Melina (Michael) Kalaman granddaughter Halle Kalaman of Tallmadge. Cremation has taken place. There will be on calling hours and a private service will be held for the immediate family.
