Mary Hippli

Mary L. Hippli 81 of Akron went home to be with the Lord April 4 2006. Mary was born on May 23 1924 in Akron OH. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Pearl and Edward Gross; daughter Paula Brown; siblings Edward Gross and Pat Hippli; first husband Paul Brown. She is survived by her husband John S. Hippli; daughter Georgia (Bernie) Reish; stepchildren Sharon (Chuck) Sigley Barbara (Adrian) Cook Peggy (Gerry) Christopher John (Jill) W. Hippli Cindy (Mike) Bynum; siblings Betty (Glenn) Warner Johanna Shaw Wayne (Gloria) Gross Marlene (Casey) Fleming; sister-in-law Louise Gross; 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Mary worked for many years at O'Neil's Department Store in downtown Akron. Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 7 2006 11 AM at Crusade Baptist Church 2982 Copley Road Copley OH 44321 with Rev. Max McKanna officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 East Exchange Street AKRON on Thursday April 6 2006 from 5-8 PM. Memorial donations may be made to Crusade Baptist Church.
