VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Mary Magdalene Haas (Nanny) 94 of Fairlawn died July 12 2006 at The Village of St. Edward. She was a charter member of St. Hilary Church and was a member of their Altar Society and Senior Citizens Group. Mary was born on May 28 1912 in Katymar Hungary to the late John and Gertrude Bartelme came to the U.S. and lived in Akron for over 75 years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends at St. Edward where she lived and volunteered for many years as a librarian. She was recently honored and proud of being the mother of 5 generations. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband Anthony Haas son Anthony Haas Jr. and daughter-in-law Mary Haas. She is survived by her sons John (Patricia) Haas and Robert Haas Missouri City TX; 11grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; sister Susan Krix Morenci MI and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Monday July 17 2006 9:30 AM at St. Hilary Catholic Church where the funeral procession will form. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
