Mary Beth Conroy (Reymann)

Mary Beth T. Conroy (Reymann), age 84, passed away on October 21, 2023. She was born on October 23, 1938 in Akron to the late Gilbert and Aileen Reymann. She attended grammar school at St. Sebastian and graduated high school from St. Vincent-St.Mary. Mary Beth earned her Masters Degree from Xavier University. She taught 25 years in elementary education, starting in Boston retiring from Florida. Mary Beth returned to Akron, teaching at Kent State, University of Akron and Stark State College.

She was also a talented musician, teaching piano lessons. Mary Beth was a member of St. Sebastian and St. Hilary Catholic Churches. She was active in the Eucharistic Adoration, adult education programs and served as an Extraordinary Minister to the homebound and nursing homes. Mary Beth also volunteered at Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center and at Summa Hospice. She loved to be around family and friends and enjoyed plays, concerts and especially eating out for dinner. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by her two brothers and two sisters; she is survived by husband, Robert; brother, Tim (Elly) Reymann and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 Friday, November 3 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 476 Mull Ave. Akron, Ohio. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Reymann Foundation PO Box 13441 Fairlawn, Ohio 44334.
