Mary Bader

Mary Lou Bader 86 of Akron passed away peacefully on Monday December 31 2012. Mrs. Bader had been a special education teacher at Akron Children's Hospital and North High School. She was an active member of St. Hilary Catholic Church a sister of Theta Phi Alpha sorority. She loved spending time with family and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by brothers Robert Knapp of California and John Knapp of Virginia; her daughter Mary Bader of United Arab Emirates; sons Lawrence (Sue) of Florida; Stephen (Ivy) of Akron and Timothy (Sally) of Painesville; nine grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence J. Bader. The family will receive friends on Saturday January 5 2013 at 9:00 AM at Saint Hilary Parish 2750 W. Market St. Fairlawn OH. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM also at St. Hilary Parish. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery to follow.
