Martha Sarlouis

Martha J. Sarlouis, 86 of Akron, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 surrounded by her family. A native of Lorain, she was the daughter of Julius Halmasy and Mary Halmasy. Martha was preceded in death by her son Joseph Jr., sisters Sr. Mary Wilma Halmasy and Mary Cochran; brothers Julius and Larry Halmasy. she is survived by her husband Joseph, daughter Mary Anne Sarlouis; sons Patrick (Suzanne), Martin, Robert, John (Margaret) and William Sarlouis; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister Margaret (Dwight) Strayer; sister-in-laws Dolores and Bonnie Halmasy and many nieces, nephews and family. The family will receive friends TODAY, December 22, 2016 from 4 to 7 pm at Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd. COPLEY. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 am at Guardian Angels Catholic Church 1676 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd. Copley with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations can be made to a charity of choice.
