Martha Peterson

Martha Toyoko Peterson 78 passed away surrounded by her loving family August 3 2004. Born March 18 1926 in Kobe Japan she lived in Akron since 1958. She retired from Goodwill Industries with over 20 years of service. Martha lived with her daughter and son-in-law in Cuyahoga Falls where she enjoyed being a member of the AARP Widowers Group. Martha was preceded in death by her husband Carl Peterson and her mother Koto Sakimoto. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Jack and Lynn Sweat of Columbus OH Raymond and Keiko Sweat of Japan Arland and Carol Sweat of Cuyahoga Falls OH daughter and son-in-law Betty and Harry Petsanis of Cuyahoga Falls OH. She is also survived by her 8 beloved grandchildren brothers Kasumasa and Masaji Sakimoto of Japan and sister Miwako Lee of California Memorial Services will be held on at 1:00 PM on Friday August 6 2004 at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Burial in the Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent OH.
