Marjorie Schneidler

April 9, 1922 — July 29, 2015

Marjorie Ellen (Jolliff) Schneidler peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 29th, 2015. Born in Akron, Ohio on April 9th, 1922 to Clarence and Bessie Jolliff. She resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1950 and recently at Mulberry Gardens in Munroe Falls. She attended the University of Akron, became a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, Eta chapter. With the start of World War II, she went to work as a cartographer at Goodyear Aircraft Corporation. She was a member of ST. Paul's Episcopal Church. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Joe W., sister Evelyn Ruth and granddaughter Kristen (Schneidler) Schultz. She will be greatly missed by her son Don (Mary Beth) Schneidler, daughter Janet (Mark) Moore. Grandchildren Mike Schneidler (Jen), Marina (Moore) Sharp (Tommy), Paul Moore. Great Grandchildren Austin and Brian Schneidler, Annie Schultz, Stephanie and Derek Sharp. Nieces and their families Laura Ruth Bidwell (Fred), Emily (Ruth) Rode (Robbie), Abby (Adam), Alex (Natasha), and Aaron. She loved her family so much and always put us first, always looking for ways to enrich our lives. She loved to paint, draw, garden, and read. She made a beautiful home, enjoyed her garden club, and many friends and neighbors with whom she and Joe had good times over the years. Funeral service will be held Monday Aug. 10, 1:00 pm at St. Paul Episcopal Church in the chapel with Rev. Mark Pruitt, 1361 W. Market St., Akron, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service in the parlor. Interment Glendale Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, OpenM, or charity of your choice.
