Marjorie Costill

Marjorie J. Costill age 82 passed away on Christmas Day December 25 2009 at Bath Manor. Marjorie was a life resident of Akron and a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She worked in the office at B.F. Goodrich for many years and retired from there. She was a sports enthusiast and was one of her nephew Dan's biggest fans watching him play baseball for years. She bowled and golfed in leagues and traveled to all 50 states and Europe. Her sorority sisters were a big part of her life and she participated in all the sorority activities. She loved all animals especially dogs and horses and enjoyed taking long walks with her dog Mandy. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents Thelma and Robert and her brother Bob. She is survived by her sister-in-law Millie niece Nancy and nephew Dan (Sandy) Costill. The family would like to extend its thanks to Bath Manor for their special care and kindness and to Hospice of Summa for their support and compassion. A Funeral Service will take place at Noon on Wednesday December 30 2009 at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St Akron. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:00 AM - 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 1815 W.
