Mario Pavlovich, 84, of Norton died May 29, 2015. Mario was born on April 23, 1931 in Slovenija. He survived WWII as a young boy and immigrated to the United States in 1956. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna, brothers, Zravko and Zvonko. Mario built his own business, Pavlovich Machine, where he used his expertise in tool and die making. He was a master of his trade. He was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hobbies year round. He loved snow skiing, wind surfing, kayaking, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed anything that involved his grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Ronald (Cynthia); daughter, Valerie (Bradley) Ruff; sister, Zlata; brother, Roman and precious grandchildren Madeline, Nathaniel, Lydia, Grayson, Sofia, Bode, Samantha and Sabrina. Memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard Church, 44 University Avenue in Akron. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
